Anyone remember that horrible American Psycho sequel "American Psycho II: All American Girl" starring Mila Kunis? Well, for those who are unaware, that movie had nothing to do with the 2000 film that had Christian Bale play serial killer Patrick Bateman. As a matter of fact, it only had a minor connection to the original work of Bret Easton Ellis's book. It's a good thing too, because Ellis is planning on an official sequel.

MovieWeb took note to several tweets Ellis has been throwing around the Twitterverse, which were ideas that he had for a sequel (the novel). Of course, a lot of these tweets could potentially be the foundation of even another film. So what Ellis mention in his tweets? Well, here's a couple of notable angles he planning to play around with:

Bateman's obsession with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Patrick fantasizing about a three way with Rihanna and Chris Brown, all while hating on Barack Obama. He will also give essays on Adele and Kanye West. His favorite song of the moment would be Fireworks by Katy Perry, which leads Bateman to killing Perry's personal trainer. Patrick will also use Facebook as a means to post pictures of recently murdered women, but no one will notice, and those that do simply post a "Fuck yeah!" In the comment section.

Some pretty interesting ideas there. And while all of these are currently nothing more than ideas floating around, but Ellis is currently planning on pitching these to his publishers. He currently has 14 pages of notes in hand, and this could potentially end up being another film.

Back in December, Variety also reported that Lionsgate planned on doing a reimagining of American Psycho, which is currently in early development stages with Noble Jones writing and directing. But it Ellis' book comes through, Lionsgate might end up changing a couple of things around.
