The Dark Knight Rises, an upcoming movie of 2012, is one of the most awaited super hero movies of the year. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie is based on the DC Comics character, Batman, and is the third installment of the series directed by Nolan. The Dark Knight Rises is the sequel to Batman Begins which was released in 2005 and The Dark Knight which hit the box office in 2008. The movie stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and Tom Hardy as Bane.
The plot of the movie takes place eight years after The Dark Knight at the end of which Batman takes responsibility for Dent's crime in order to safe guard the District Attorney's reputation. By doing this, he is being chased and hunted by the Gotham City Police department. Eventually, Batman goes back to his home city and finds out the mystery behind Selina Kyle.
