London, March 17 (IANS) Australian actor Hugh Jackman will begin work in thriller "Prisoners" which is about a carpenter, Keller, who searches for his kidnapped daughter.
The movie is to be directed by 'Incendies' helmer Denis Viilleneuve, reports contactmusic.com.
"We can think of no better Keller. Denis' rare directing gifts are superbly matched to this material, that is both challenging and explores complex themes in a commercially appealing narrative," said Alcon producers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson in a statement.
Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Bryan Singer, Michael Fassbender, Leonardo DiCaprio and Antoine Fuqua have all previously been linked with the film.
The film is set to release in November 2013.
