That's booty as in treasure, not …well, you know. We have lots of great stuff now that the push has begun for The Dark Knight Rises. There is a brand new one sheet of a flaming Batman, plus six new character poster s – two each for Batman, Bane and Catwoman as well as some new stills from the film itself. The cream in Catwoman's bowl would be not one, but two brand new tv spots.
The first features Bane (Tom Hardy) liberating the people of Gotham as well as Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) deciding he needs to get back in the game:
The second opens with some sassy banter between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) and ends with our gal Selina taking Wayne's car for a joyride.
There has been an exhausting amount of hype for The Avengers and then Prometheus (which is not to say it hasn't been warranted), but it's time to remember that other monumental summer movie on the horizon.
Ever mindful of "Batfans", Christopher Nolan has promised to bring his Dark Knight Trilogy to a close in a spectacular way and everything we've seen thus far supports that. I'm really torn about which I'm more excited for, Prometheus or The Dark Knight Rises. You know I already have my Bane (Hardy) Pillowcase right under my David (Michael Fassbender) pinup. What? And you don't? Pfffft
The Dark Knight Rises, also starring Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Marion Cotillard, opens in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on July 20 in the US and the UK.
