Judging by the response on various message boards last night, there were quite a few Batman fans left underwhelmed by the latest theatrical poster for
The Dark Knight Rises, but Warner Bros. have now made amends with the release of three fantastic character posters from the hugely anticipated sequel, which have just hit the net courtesy of
Yahoo Movies UK.
Featuring a rain-soaked Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), the three new posters should go some way to appeasing anyone who was foolish enough to begin raising doubts over the marketing campaign for Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic - check them out:
Now, that's more like it, isn't it?
The Dark Knight Rises hits cinemas on July 20th, and also features Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
