The marketing campaign for The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, is beginning to ramp up now that its release is less than two months away. Earlier this month we saw the amazing final theatrical trailer, and that has since been followed up by an admittedly average fiery poster (which was mostly derided online by fans), some decent character posters, and most importantly, two new TV spots overnight which feature glimpses of new footage as well as four incredible banners which highlight the film's massive scope. I've said it before, but I'll say it again now: The Dark Knight Rises will be the film event of 2012.
The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman and Juno Temple and is due in theatres July 20. Watch two new TV spots below (via Collider).
