So you may have heard the news that Sea Shepherd founder Paul Watson (of "Whale Wars" fame) is in a bit of a legal battle, with disparate countries caught right in the middle (i.e., Germany, Costa Rica and Japan). It has made international headlines, but for reference, here is a non-biased piece on the situation: Sea Shepherd founder Paul Watson faces extradition.

Noted French actress Brigitte Bardot has lent her public support, but did you know that Batman, James Bond and MacGyver are also trying to spring Watson? Christian Bale, Pierce Brosnan and Richard Dean Anderson are all long-time backers of Sea Shepherd and supported Watson publicly, financially and politically. That's quite the League of Extraordinary Gentleman! And with that kind of star wattage, Watson has quite the arsenal behind him.

But I think his biggest wild card is Ana-Lucia from Lost fame (and that other action movies) aka Michelle Rodriquez. I think I was the only fan of Lost who was obsessed with her and her bad-ass-ness! She has been trying to get on the "Whale Wars" ships for a few seasons now – and, if I had one phone call to make from the police, I'd be using it on her.
