2012 is set to be a stellar year for superhero movies, and the excitement for The Dark Knight Rises' release on 20th July has notably increased thanks to some amazing new character posters.
As the final instalment in the Batman trilogy directed by Hollywood heavyweight Christopher Nolan, the film sees the return of many familiar faces – Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine - as well as the introduction of some new actors into the Gotham setting – Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard.
