The Japan and China war has been focused in the movie basically dealing wih a group off children and an American being trapped in a church in China. Japan Army is at the extreme and they are crushing China badly and somewhere their feet also falls on some young kids prompted as lowers. The movie touches the sentiemnts and some scene are enough to bring tears. Movie has been well directed by Yimou Zhang while it has been scripted by by Liu Heng and Yan Gelling. Christian Bale acts as John Miller, an american trapped with the group in the church.
