In this economy who can afford to buy American anymore?  Forget about your DVD players and sweatpants, it appears that our movie superheroes are being outsourced as well - they tooook 'ur jubs!  Taking a quick look back from 2005 to today, here are some comic book heroes from movies that grossed over $100k (or upcoming movies that will gross that much) focusing on a character who had their own comic series, here are some cinematic exports and imports for no particular reason at all.

Spiderman - Andrew Garfield (Technically born in Los Angeles, but was raised in the UK)
Batman - Christian Bale (Wales, UK)
Superman - Henry Cavill (Channel Islands, UK)
Wolverine - Hugh Jackman (Sydney, Australia)
Thor - Chris Hemsworth (Melbourne, Australia)
Green Lantern - Ryan Reynolds (Vancouver, Canada)
Green Hornet - Seth Rogen (Vancouver, Canada)

Iron Man - Robert Downey, Jr. (New York, USA)
Spiderman - Tobey Maguire (California, USA)
Captain America - Chris Evans (Mass., USA)
The Hulk - Mark Ruffalo (Wisconsin, USA)
The Hulk - Edward Norton (Maryland, USA)
Superman - Brandon Routh (Iowa, USA)
Ghost Rider - Nicholas Cage (California, USA)
Hellboy - Ron Pearlman (New York, USA)

Each actor's effectiveness in their roles is debatable but it sure looks like the rest of the world has a bit of an edge on the U.S.  Although the success of The Avengers could vault the careers of those Americans... well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
