With less than two months to go until its theatrical release, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have debuted two new TV spots for The Dark Knight Rises, the final part of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, during tonight's American Idol finale. The film sees the return of Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine, as well as the introduction of Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, with starring roles also coming for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart and Marion Cotillard.
On the back of the third trailer, the television spots are made up of almost entirely new footage, focusing on Bane, Catwoman, Alfred, Lucius, and the Dark Knight. There is some great stuff in both spots, so check them out below!

Eight years after The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to the limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent.
