What more can one possibly say about
"The Dark Knight Rises"? It's tagline is "the legend ends" and its definitely
Christopher Nolan's final Batman film. Whether or not it can beat "
The Avengers" at the box-office is probably the next point of speculation among fans, but it's not in 3D, it's not a big shiny all-star team-up, blah, blah, blah. "The Dark Knight Rises" won't beat "The Dark Knight" at the box-office. Why? Because it doesn't feature what is essentially the last performance from a beloved actor that died too soon. Once we get over that, we can enjoy the picture for what it will hopefully be: something epic and memorable. Hopefully a fitting conclusion to this final chapter.
Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillar, Morgan Freeman and many more, "The Dark Knight Rises" is due in theaters July 20. New photos courtesy of BatmanNews.com are below for the super fanboy to chew on.
