With not long to go now til the release of Christopher Nolan's hugely-anticipated The Dark Knight Rises, it's with great excitement that the new character posters have been received.
Each of the three main characters – Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman – are represented in their own poster, and there are two distinct styles.
This first set has the characters against a midnight blue backdrop with rain falling, and a The Legend Ends tag line.
The second set is much darker and menacing, with the characters starting to break apart along their edges (much like the earlier skyscraper teaser poster), against a bold RISE…
The Dark Knight Rises hits Australian theatres first (I know, hard to believe!), with a release date of the 19th July 2012. The US, the UK and Canada all follow a day later with a release date of the 20th July 2012.
