Seven in the last two days.

The one above is the new theatrical poster, and a very lazy one at that. Very disappointing in the lack of effort made here, they took the first ever teaser poster, and threw in some red/orange and a picture of Batman.

Really? Can we get some creativity? Just a little.

Then today, we got six (better) character posters – two each of Batman played by Christian Bale, Bane played by Tom Hardy, and Catwoman played by Anne Hathaway.

I like the character posters a lot, they have a good feel to them, even showcasing snow, which we know Christopher Nolan likes, and I'm sure we will see a cold Gotham in The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th, 2012.

The film also stars Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Synopsis:

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar winner Christian Bale again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius Fox.
