The Dark Knight is an all time favourite movie, filled with action, cars, jumping off massive buildings and so forth. It is the modern version of the cartoon "Batman", and mind you it is even better so children you would love to watch this. This film was released on 16th of July in Australia, the director of this OUTSTANDING film is Christopher Nolan who also did Inception, The Prestige and Batman Begins.

The main stars are Christian Bale as Batman and Bruce Wayne, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent.
Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.
I love this movie, that I could watch it over and over again and never get bored, this movie it has this feeling where it grabs your attention and you just want to sit and see what happens next. It is rated Pg so that makes it a suitable movie for all the family to watch, plus it has Christain Bale and Heath Ledger whooohh!! It is a must seen movie if you haven't watched it and I would give it 10 out of 10 star rating.
