Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas expects Gareth Bale back in training if a deal can’t be done with Real Madrid before then.
Many had expected Bale to be a Madrid player by now, however he still remains a Tottenham player and will fly back tomorrow from his holiday, ironically in Spain.
“Whether the transfer will happen or not, hopefully you will have more news in the next couple of days,” Villas-Boas said after his side beat Swansea.
“But, at the moment, there is nothing I can tell you. Monday is a day off. Tuesday is training so I would expect him to be there.”
Tottenham made it two successive 1-0 wins as they beat Swansea in Sunday’s match.
