Pittsburgh Business Times give us some more info about the movie, following the announcement by state Rep. Paul Costa. Here are the bits:
[...] Costa said that the production will last about 16 weeks and will be released sometime in 2014. It will be the second movie in less than a year with a southwestern Pennsylvania setting for Oscar winner Bale, who portrayed the Caped Crusader and Bruce Wayne in the Christopher Nolan "Batman" trilogy. Pittsburgh was the setting in July and August for the production of "The Dark Knight Rises," which will be in theatres in July 2012.
"Out of the Furnace" will employ as many as 250 people during the production and will use the Pennsylvania Film/TV production tax credit. [...]
