"We die every day……A thousand times an hour. Anyone who does this…work…sees it. Death. Their own….their partners…their loved ones. We go to work anyway. Death is…powerless against you…if you leave a legacy of…good behind. Death is powerless against you if you do your job. My father…saved the lives…of over four thousand people, one at a time…with his bare hands and his mind. Death was with him the entire time."

Damn TRUE right?

I grown up just like other people during their younger years knowing that Batman is literally a Bat-human, a superhero, a persona who defends ordinary human beings from villains in an specific place. Honestly i dont belive on him that much, for i know that he is just a character imprisoned inside our television, entertaining the viewers. I thought before that Batman is a filipino, then i just found out that he is not, my parents didnt told me about it, coz they never care at all, busy with their jobs, they just left us with our baby sitters. Well, thats the coolest part for my brother, he can do whatever he wanna do, he impersonate Batman, do some fighting moves with the pillows, kick the sofa, jump high from the chair, etcetera, etcetera.

In lieu to that...

I still remember before when i was young, its not me who got addicted to Batman, its my big Bro. In fact, he always put the remote control inside his pants so no one will attempt to get it and change the channel, after watching he just threw away the remote and let other people grab it for him and turn off the tv for him, because after watching, he does all the stuff i mentioned above. Another thing, my mom bought a Batman costume just to satisfied what he wants. Spoiled. But i dont get jealous.

But, sometimes, the idea of thinking who really BATMAN is bothers me... Can i be like him? Can i be like a superhero? Can i protect my fellowmen from villains? am i powerful enough? Random questions I asked on my self while daydreaming. haha I am a certified weird elusive dreamer.

Who is Batman?

A Dark Knight Shift SuperHero,  the most down-to-earth of all the superheroes. He has no special powers from being born on a distant world or bitten by a radioactive spider. All that protects him from the Joker and other Gotham City villains are his wits and a physique shaped by years of training—combined with the vast fortune to reach his maximum potential and augment himself with Batmobiles, Batcables and other Bat-goodies, of course.

There are many artists who portrayed Batman; and he is a world SuperHero.

Who is Batman?........Harvey Dent

Batman has been portrayed by many actors across the years including Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Adam Velasquez, and recently Christian Bale.

In our times, though Batman is still Batman, and he is still a superhero, what does his significance in our new generation, where technology evolved. Well, I think almost all, if not all of us here, agree that Batman is quite awesome. But, we probably got interested in him for different reasons. There are things about him that some us like, and that some of us don't like. Like my brother and I. Enjoying Batman means something different to everyone, so, what's it for you?

In order to be classed a super hero you must have super human powers? so what makes Batman a super hero?

"A superhero (sometimes rendered super-hero or super hero) is a fictional character "of unprecedented physical prowess dedicated to acts of derring-do in the public interest"."

According to this definition, the hero does not need "super powers" so long as he is a powerful individual. Batman is, quite certainly, a powerful individual. He is physically strong and agile, allowing him to perform quite well in fights. On top of these, he has the aid of technology, which allows him to get around places quickly and to defend himself against enemy attack. He also probably uses logic more than other superheroes to make up for the fact that he doesn't have actual super powers. After all, you're going to have to use your brain more if you can't just go around blasting guys with laser eyes and throwing S-shaped logos at people.

I like the fact that he's a hero, only without super powers. I mean, you or I could be Batman if we trained.............. A lot ;). Batman means more to me aside from my brother's interest to him than any other superheroes because of his humanity. I think it's a testament of what one person can do when they undertake in the necessary pains to take advantage of a given opportunity. We could all be Batman. Not in the sense that we could all go out fighting bad guys. But rather, we could all make differences in people's lives, which is what I believe is the heart behind Batman. His need to help others, not because of a superpower he has, but because of his personal experiences.

As others have alluded to, Batman shows the amazing accomplishments one man can achieve when he's driven enough. In short, we can be a Batman in our way of living.

If ever given a chance to be a Batman, even just for a day. I'd probably go around to random people and say in a deep voice: "I'm Batman." Then disappear, right as they turn around, JUST to piss them off.... hahaha but on a serious note: probably the same thing Batman does, save people and stop crime. Not really much point in doing anything else, otherwise you'd just ruin the idea of Batman, who is the man. Pretty much one of the best heros of the Justice League. And he's effing intelligent as well.

I wanna be like BATMAN... why?

Because everytime he punches someone, it goes PLOOW! Can you do that. I know I can't.
