I watched old-school Batman with Adam West in it.
Best.
Thing.
Ever.
My favourite bit was when they were jumping out of the car to investigate something and Batman stops Robin and goes, "WAIT! We haven't put money in the meter."
And Robin's all like: "But we have to like save some shit etc."
And Batman's all like: "NO! It's good citizenship and all that."
And then Robin's all like: "You're right, Batman."
Christian Bale would've never put money in the meter. He would've eaten the meter and then have spat out for dying penguins or something. Also, I love how quickly Robin changes his mind. You should've seen the conviction with what he spoke.
And also had those really horrid cheesy special effects where Batman "punches" somebody and then the words "BIFF!" roll onto the screen with that music. I didn't know whether it was intended to be humourous, BUT IT WAS.
