Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Sorkin has reportedly announced that former Dark Knight, Christian Bale, didn’t even have to audition to play the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs in his new biopic.
“He really is a phenomenal actor,” Sorkin said of Bale.
“There was a meeting. The role is an extremely difficult role. He has more words to say in this movie than most people have in three movies combined,” Sorkin added when asked about the audition.
The critically acclaimed writer is set to adapt the Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography, “Steven Jobs,” with award-winning director Danny Boyle attached to direct. The project is about to start filming in the coming months.
Among the actors rumored to play the titular character before Bale was announced, were Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper.
