Despite a pair of new releases over the weekend, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part One ruled supreme over the Thanksgiving box office for the second straight weekend.
The film earned $56.9 million to take the top spot, bringing its domestic haul to over $225.6 million, while internationally, it's earned $254.4 million.
Penguins of Madagascar opened in second place with $25.8 million. The animated spin-off from the Madagascar franchise centers around the penguin characters.
Disney's Big Hero 6 landed at #3 with $18.7 million and Interstellar held down the #4 spot with $15.7 million.
Closing out the top 5 was Warner Bros. comedy sequel, Horrible Bosses 2 with $15.7 million to star. It stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day reprising their roles from the 2011 original.
