The word on the street caused the children to clamber out of the woodwork for pictures on the snowy set.
Yes, you read that right. The magic of movie making was demonstrated for Midtown residents as the scene was set to take place against a yuletide backdrop mid-Winter.
We marveled – for a spell – watching the crew make a city block come alive with snow as we started to lose sensation to our toes.
But it wasn’t only photogs camping out for the 1st night of filming. One doorman working near Johnson’s trailer told us that there were 2 particular “female fans” who had not moved from the block since morning hours.
A bit extreme but to each their own.
For her part, in between takes, Johnson hightailed it into the lobby of the hotel the scene was taking place in front of and would only exit when they were ready to roll.
Ain’t that something?
A hard life for sure.
Sadly, to add to the disappointing set up, there was no Stevens was to be found.
The lighting being utilized was as shitty as all hell and many a cries and whimpers could be heard from the gathered lot enduring a throwback to February temps.
