WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) Two jockeys at Delaware Park Race Monitor have been in secure situation after they have been thrown from their horses throughout a race.
New Fort County paramedic Cpl. Abigail E. Haas says emergency responders have been referred to as to the Wilmington monitor Wednesday afternoon to deal with the jockeys.
Paramedics say one jockey, 19-yr-previous Christian Navarro, was handled for attainable higher and decrease extremity accidents and delivered to a hospital in secure situation.
The second jockey, 37-yr-previous Ricardo Chiappe, was handled for a attainable head damage and was delivered to a hospital in critical, however secure situation.
