Last year, she won both the Golden Globe and the Oscar for her brilliant performance in 'Black Swan'. This year, it took some time to have a baby. Consequently, there has been nominated for anything. It is really pathetic.
It seems that Natalie Portman has been thinking about the joke that made Ricky Gervais during the last installment of the Golden Globes. After the parenthesis in her career because of her maternity leave, the actress returned to work and has already chosen the filmmaker with which to collaborate: the enigmatic, thoughtful, spiritual, controversial and prestigious Terrence Malick, who won the Palme d'Or and Oscar nominee for The Tree of Life '.
The most striking is that Portman is committed to Malick twice; it will intervene in his next two films, titled 'Knight of Cups' and 'Lawless'. We'll see if it helps to re-qualify for these awards that we all say we do not care.
The first shoot will be the 'Knight of Cups', where Portman will share scenes with Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas. Currently there are no further information about the project other than the aforementioned actors and filming starts in summer.
Just finish the job in that production will begin filming the next, 'Lawless'. The cast of this include Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Haley Bennett, Bale, Blanchett and Portman. Nor have any details about the history of this second project, which, interestingly, we've seen pictures (and even a video) of what may be randomized. It is believed that the world is focused on an important musical figure, but for now are just rumors, nothing official.
