Director David O. Russell continues to be in demand following his Oscar-nomination for The Fighter as Variety is reporting that Russell is attached to direct a movie with the cheeky title of American Bullsh*t for Sony Pictures and Atlas Entertainment. Written by Eric Singer ( The International ) and produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, it's a drama about a con artist working with the FBI to solve a corruption case that takes him to Atlantic City and Washington D.C.
UPDATE: Deadline seems to have gone out of their way to debunk the earlier stories from the trades about Russell directing the movie but in getting a clarification, they learned that if he did the movie, it would probably reunite him with Christian Bale as they lead. But for now, he's only in…
